Rocky Horror Picture Show
Saturday, November 5th - 11:30 PM to 2:00 AM
An event every week that begins at 11:30 PM on Saturday, repeating indefinitely
“Damnit, Janet” is an easy way to remember how to pronounce the Willamette, and if you don’t know “Damnit, Janet” in the context of this movie, you’re missing out.
The Clinton Street Theater presents the longest continuously-running movie in history with “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” every Saturday night. Watching the cult classic starring Susan Sarandon and Tim Curry, you’ll find yourself learning how to do the “Time Warp” and realizing, “oh that’s where that came from” for sayings you’ve heard but never knew the origin.
Most nights, a shadow cast performs near the screen and provides “colorful” commentary/jokes in reference to what’s happening on stage. Check the website to see if this Saturday’s show is “The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the Clinton Street Cabaret” or “The Rocky Horror Picture Show ‘BIY'” (Be It Yourself) with the audience providing the extras. If you’re a virgin, definitely make your first time with someone else (i.e. go to the “The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the Clinton Street Cabaret” version).
